Norman’s Exercise Cycle 5
Very Basic Sweep exercise
if you put your fingers on the
5th (1 finger) fret 1st string
6th fret (2finger) 2nd string
7th fret (3 finger) 3rd string
8th fret (4 finger) 4th string
and do an upstroke strum you get the strum sound
if you coordinate the placing of those fingers and the picking
you get those notes but also a slight break between each of the notes
It sounds like fast single notes rather than a strum
This sweeping could be done with other fingers and other strings and still
be very basic
